HEADLINE ACTS

The standout events of the week will be the two A-League fixtures:

Western UnitedVSCentral Coast Mariners

In the first of two games in Launceston, Western United take on the high-flying Central Coast Mariners. The Mariners have sat on the very top of the A-League table for almost the entirety of the season, after finishing on the bottom the year prior. It’s a huge first match in the Macca's Festival Of Football - you won’t want to miss these two quality sides going head-to-head.

Western UnitedVSWellington Phoenix

These two sides had some fiery clashes last season after a number of Phoenix players and Head Coach Mark Rudan crossed the ditch to join United. Coming up against the Phoenix is always a little bit special – it was United’s first ever A-League game in which the Green and Black recorded a famous 1-0 win in New Zealand. We’re hoping for a repeat of that scoreline in Launceston!
